New House!!

We have a new residence!! We started building our home back in October. Lane and I were out for a run one day and ran into a neighborhood that we thought looked inviting. We walked through a home that was being built at that time and decided we liked it a lot!! It's all history from there. We met with the contractor's and nabbed the last lot in the neighborhood. Lane tiled our floors (with the help of some of our best friends and our family) and we decided to do the painting ourselves so that we could have 3 tones instead of them going in and painting the walls and ceilings the same color. The painting ended up being way more than we bargained for. The cleanup and prep was excruciating, not to mention that we had to paint the weekend before Christmas when we also had to fit in Olivia's dance revue and a family Christmas party. But we love the way it turned out and love that we got to choose our own colors. It took longer than expected to get things finished and our lease ended on our apartment the end of January, so we've spent the last 3 weeks living at Lane's grandparent's house while they are spending the winter in Arizona. Hence why we've been without internet the last month. We are loving our new place! There's so much more room and it feels good having a place of our own. Feels so grown up!! Ha ha!!

Bye bye apartment. Lane and I had our first kiss on this doorstep and started our life together here, but we are so loving our new place!!
